designjunction spotlights 2016: Ruth Wasserman & Beatriz Nuño of Made.com

Published by

Made, a new breed of online retailer for the consumer furniture and interiors market, are disrupting the way we look at design at accessible prices. We were excited to see Made make an appearance to designjunction with their partnership with Transport for London. Made have created a series of London Transport-inspired products including chairs upholstered in the classic Piccadilly Line fabric and lights referencing tube train designs.

Ruth Wasserman, Head of Design, and Beatriz Nuño, Product Designer, give us insight behind the collaboration, the trends they are looking at for 2017, the massive rapid growth they’ve seen in 2016, and how they get immersed in their creative process.

designjunction has grown immensely this year with the formal announcement of a brand new hub for creativity in the heart of kings cross - #KXCQ. For London Design Festival, more than 200 contemporary brands, designers, and studios, take home to the area near UAL to come alive with a theme that’s all about immersive design.
